Delivery policy
Delivery is free for all orders of $75.00 or more in Quebec and Ontario. In other provinces as well as Nunavut, Yukon and the Northwest Territories, shipping costs will be charged at checkout.
Shipping costs attributable to these regions will be charged at checkout. The same goes for any order coming from the United States, Europe and elsewhere in the world. Administration fees may be charged for orders from outside Canada: forms to complete, travel, etc.
Delay of treatment
Orders are processed either the same day they are received or the next day, with the exception of public holidays and Saturdays and Sundays.
In the event of incomplete information provided by the buyer, the processing time may extend, depending on the corrections made by the buyer.
Orders are shipped by Canada Post or Dicom. A tracking number is sent to the buyer the same day of shipment. Delivery time may vary from three (3) to ten (10) business days in Canadian provinces. To the United States, delivery time can be up to 15 business days. Elsewhere in the world, the seller cannot guarantee a fixed delivery time, especially if the package is shipped by sea.
Delivery to the United States and Internationally
The seller is not responsible for a delay caused by customs authorities (detained package) or for mechanical or other breakdowns suffered by the carrier en route. As far as possible, the seller will inform the buyer of the cause of said delay and the measures to be taken, if necessary.
In principle, food products are not taxed or subject to customs duties, but if this is the case, these will be borne by the buyer. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to find out about the customs regulations in force in their country and to inform the seller, documentation included, in order to avoid any ambiguity during the delivery process. ‘shipping.
Liability of Crousset Inc.
It is the seller’s responsibility to ship any order as quickly as possible, i.e. within seven days of receipt. It is also the seller’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the order as well as the use of secure packaging allowing the package to arrive at its destination in good condition. If a product or products are missing (back order), the seller must notify the buyer and, where applicable, reimburse or replace it or them in the manner that suits the buyer. buyer. Buyer’s Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide all the information necessary for the delivery of the order.
The seller will not be held responsible for any delay in the delivery of the order due to incorrect or incomplete information given by the buyer.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to be present at the time of delivery of the package. If the buyer is absent and/or has not made the necessary arrangements and this causes additional costs, these will be borne by him. The buyer can take advantage of the Signature Required option. However, he must be present at the time of delivery. If it is not and this causes additional costs, these will be borne by him.
Damaged packages
The seller undertakes to package its products securely to avoid any breakage or damage en route. However, it may happen that a breakage occurs during delivery due to negligence on the part of the carrier or any other unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, the buyer must provide, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the package, physical proof (photo) of the condition in which it was received.
This proof will subsequently be sent to the carrier for possible compensation, if applicable. If the fault lies with the carrier, the seller will ensure that full compensation is obtained from the carrier. However, the seller cannot guarantee the processing time of said request. If the carrier judges and proves that the package was damaged due to deficient or insufficient packaging, the seller undertakes to fully reimburse the buyer. It is up to the seller, using physical evidence, to determine whether the products contained in the damaged package are nevertheless in good condition and can be consumed safely.
Lost packages
If a package shipped to Canada is not delivered within ten (10) business days of being given to the carrier, the buyer must notify our order department as soon as possible. If, after investigation, it appears that the package has been lost, the seller will attempt to determine the cause and trace it. If the carrier is at fault, a complaint will be lodged with a view to obtaining compensation.
However, the seller will not be held responsible for the delay in processing and settling the complaint. If the loss is due to incomplete or erroneous information provided by the buyer, no refund will be granted. The same applies if the loss is due to theft during or after delivery of the parcel. On the other hand, if the loss is due to a transcription error on the part of Épices Crousset (wrong address) and this is proven by material proof, a refund will be granted.
Incomplete order and/or error
In the event of an incomplete order (missing product) or an error during processing (wrong product), the buyer will be reimbursed or compensated as appropriate. However, the purchaser will not be reimbursed or compensated if he or she has ordered the wrong product, even if this was unintentional. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that his or her order corresponds entirely to his or her wishes before sending it.
Return policy
Purchasers who are dissatisfied with the quality of our products may return them to us within ten (10) days of receipt of their parcel. After this period, no returns will be accepted. The buyer must first notify us, by e-mail or telephone, of his/her intention to make a return. Failure to do so will result in no refund.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be made to the purchaser’s credit card or via PayPal, and only after receipt of the returned merchandise. The buyer must also provide proof of purchase (invoice). Returned merchandise must be in good condition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pack the merchandise properly.
Privacy policy
All transactions concluded between the buyer and the seller through the Crousset inc. website are confidential. The information collected (nature of order, name, physical address, e-mail address) is used solely for communication purposes between the seller and the buyer. This information will not be given, loaned or sold for any purpose or to any entity whatsoever.
Nor will it be used to solicit the buyer for commercial purposes, unless the buyer has given his or her prior consent (see our Newsletter). However, the seller cannot guarantee that its website is completely hacker-proof. In such cases, the buyer will be notified by e-mail.
